Sprung Records of the week – 003

2015 starts with a bang. Big Bang.

We start 2015 with our lovely friends over at Sprung Records’ third chart. Another outstanding selection of on point Techno. This week they’ve chosen records from Mike Storm, A Sagittariun, Affin and more.

Enjoy the music that they are feeling this week.

Mike Storm – Pulsars (Belief System Records)

Mike Storm brings 18 tracks of warm sounding, lunar techno on his incredible new LP. Sounds like a soundtrack to a sci-fi film that you can dance to.

RELEASE DATE 02/01/15

Unknown Artist – HFP#009 (Head Front Panel)

Sprung favourite Head Front Panel bring out their 9th release, packed in the usual format with eye catching tribal/ethnic artwork. Crunchy, full bodied techno.

RELEASE DATE 06/01/15

Annie Hall – Graphic Violence EP (FLASH Recordings)

FLASH’s EP is the best thing to be imported from Spain this week (apart from a jar of roasted red peppers I had for lunch 2 days ago). Annie Hall delivers 3 tracks of varied and mature techno.

RELEASE DATE 05/01/15

Various Artists – Selected 2014 (Affin)

Affin conclude a great year with their new 12 track compilation, featuring tracks from Sprung favourite Keith Carnal, amongst others. Straight up, no-nonsense techno.

RELEASE DATE 31/12/14

A Sagittariun – Lost Cities (secretsundaze)

When secretsundaze aren’t putting on excellent events (their Sonar afterparty in Barcelona last summer was one of our favourite parties of the year), they like to release excellent music. A Sagittariun’s perfectly balanced EP carries enough weight to keep you on your toes, without being overbearing.
